Terms & Conditions

Last updated: 15 September 2026

1. Who These Terms Cover

These Terms & Conditions govern enrolment in and participation with:

  • KETL Coding Club — ongoing community cohorts (school-based and independent)
  • The Block-coding / Creative STEAM / Real-world Systems Masterclass and holiday intensives (e.g. the Spring Holiday Sprint)
  • Parent & Educator workshops and information sessions
  • School partnership engagements delivering the Montessori-aligned STEAM → Developer Pathway

by reference to “KETL,” “we,” “us,” or “our.” “You” refers to the enrolling parent/guardian, adult participant, or partnering school.

These terms are issued by Kanga EdTech Vision Labs, ABN 39 168 758 570, trading as KETL and Coding Club, based in Sydney, Australia.

2. Enrolment & Eligibility

  • Enrolment is confirmed only once payment (or, for school partnerships, a signed agreement) is received.
  • Programs are age-banded as advertised (e.g. Ages 9–12, Ages 12–16). We reserve the right to decline or defer enrolment where a participant's age or readiness doesn't fit the cohort.
  • Cohort sizes are deliberately small (typically 5–7 to 12 students) and capped. Enrolment is first-confirmed, first-served.
  • Where a program runs inside a partner school, that school's own enrolment and code-of-conduct policies apply alongside these terms.

3. Fees & Payment

  • Fees are as stated on the relevant program listing at time of enrolment (e.g. Coding Club membership, per-cohort/sprint pricing, workshop fees).
  • Payment is due in full at enrolment unless a payment plan has been explicitly agreed in writing.
  • Prices are in AUD and inclusive of Tax and GST where applicable.
  • We reserve the right to change pricing for future cohorts; confirmed enrolments are held at the price paid.

4. Cancellations, Refunds & Transfers

  • More than 14 days before the program start date: full refund, less any payment-processing fees.
  • Within 14 days of the start date: 50% refund, or full credit toward a future cohort.
  • Within 48 hours of the start date, or after the program has started: no refund; credit toward a future cohort may be offered at KETL's discretion.
  • If KETL cancels or reschedules a cohort (e.g. insufficient enrolments, facilitator unavailability), enrolled participants receive a full refund or transfer to an alternative cohort, their choice.
  • Missed individual sessions within a multi-session program (e.g. one day of an 8-day sprint) are not individually refundable; where possible, we'll offer a catch-up resource or recording.

5. Program Conduct & Delivery

  • Programs are delivered as described at enrolment. Where content or format is piloted (rather than fully established), we'll say so plainly — we separate what's been proven from what's planned, and we won't represent one as the other.
  • We expect participants to engage respectfully with facilitators and peers. KETL reserves the right to remove a participant from a program, without refund, for conduct that is unsafe, abusive, or seriously disruptive to other learners.
  • Remote sessions require the participant to have a stable internet connection and appropriate device; KETL is not responsible for a participant missing content due to their own connectivity issues, though we'll act reasonably to help where we can.

6. Intellectual Property

  • All curriculum, frameworks, branding, and materials (including the Block-coding / Creative STEAM / Real-world Systems pathway, session content, and worksheets) remain the intellectual property of KETL / Kanga EdTech Vision Labs.
  • Enrolment grants participants a personal, non-transferable licence to use materials for their own learning. Materials may not be reproduced, resold, or used to deliver a competing program without written permission.
  • Any code, projects, or creative work a student builds during a program belongs to that student.

7. Photography, Media & Testimonials

  • We may take photos or video during in-person or live sessions for use in KETL/Coding Club marketing (website, social media, school reporting) unless you opt out in writing at enrolment.
  • We will not publish a student's full name alongside identifying imagery without separate, explicit parental consent.
  • Parent or student testimonials will only be used publicly with the individual's explicit permission.

8. Privacy

  • Personal information (names, contact details, payment details, participant age) is collected solely to administer enrolment, deliver programs, and communicate with you about KETL offerings.
  • We do not sell participant data. Information may be shared with a partnering school where the program is delivered inside that school's environment.
  • See our Privacy Policy for full details.

9. Liability

  • KETL takes reasonable care in program design and delivery but does not guarantee specific outcomes (e.g. university admission, specific skill mastery, open-source contribution) — these depend on the learner's own engagement over time.
  • To the extent permitted by Australian Consumer Law, KETL's liability for any claim arising from a program is limited to the fees paid for that program.
  • Nothing in these terms excludes rights that cannot be excluded under Australian Consumer Law.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time; the version in effect at the time of your enrolment governs that enrolment. Material changes will be reflected with an updated “Last updated” date above.
